Extending the Consumer Experience Beyond the Vehicle
Limited Capacity seats available

Connectivity in vehicles is evolving at a fast pace and opening up new applications and business models in the transportation segment. Leveraging the latest in wireless technologies, new commerce platforms and consumer features are coming to market at a fast pace. Automobiles collect a tremendous amount of data; new products are enabling access to this data directly to consumers in both OEM and aftermarket applications. The consumer experience extends beyond the vehicle into the overall connect life, reaching into wearable and connected home applications. As with most technology evolutions, it is not just about the enabling technology, but also about the business model and distribution that will drive it into the mass market.

Real Solutions With Today’s Smart Devices
Limited Capacity seats available

Businesses are improving the effectiveness of their products and services using data from smart connected devices. Agosto is involved with varying IoT business cases that all leverage Google Cloud Platform.  These include commercial fleet, consumer vehicle OBD-II, and industrial lighting.  We’ll explore the characteristics of these solutions - all having different requirements for connectivity and messaging.  Then we’ll focus on a reference architecture for an end-to-end solution that collects and transforms data from a large number of bandwidth constrained devices.  Finally, we’ll demonstrate a working device to cloud infrastructure simulating thousands of devices pushing a high volume of messages - the result of a collaboration with Google’s IoT Solutions Architecture group.
